Colleagues at Faculty of Communication Sciences at Anadolu University, Turkey have a call for paper for the inaugural issue CLAIMS: Journal of Critical AI and Media Studies, expected to be published in a June 2026.
CLAIMS is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal issued exclusively online twice a year, in June and December, in Turkish and English.
CLAIMS offers an interdisciplinary platform at the intersection of artificial intelligence and media studies, focusing on research that examines the ethical, political, and cultural dimensions of technology from the perspectives of the social sciences and humanities. We particularly welcome original research articles and review papers that focus on the interaction between artificial intelligence and media ecology, algorithmic culture, platform economies, and digital communication practices.
